What is a CCTV maintenance and why is it essential ?

CCTV (closed-circuit television) maintenance ensures the effective running and upkeep of all CCTV equipment. CCTV maintenance is essential to identify and eradicate any damages, defaults and performance impacting issues. Without regular care, the safety and security of sites could be at risk. This is done by, thorough inspection of equipment and an accurate tracking of what works have taken place. It is also important to value the feedback of those on site and implement ideas of those working in the sites regularly. Upkeep, change and adaptation is essential to efficient CCTV maintenance.

How often should it be done ?

It is just as important to maintain CCTV as it is to have it in the first place!

CCTV checks, depending on the size and importance of the site, require 2 visits a year by one of our skilled engineers. User training for those on site could enable longer term CCTV function in between these maintenance checks.
